Sample Service
Over the years we've informally helped merchant partners connect with - and gain more coverage from - our partnered publishers by facilitating product samples.
Given some of the great results coming out of this service (see "How has this worked for others?" below), as of August 2023 we're thrilled to officially launch our Sample Service for merchants interested in offering product samples on-demand.
How does the Sample Service help me?
There are a few advantages of the Sample Service for our merchant partners:
- Kickstart or deepen a relationship with any one of our publisher partners
- Gain new editorial features
- Gain more inbound links, engaged traffic, and potentially sales
And all with Kutoku's support to handle the process from end-to-end.
How much does it cost?
$99/successful sample facilitated once conditions have been met.
How does it work?
The process is quite simple:
- You fill out our form with details on the sample product, selected publishers, and conditions.
- Kutoku initiates the outreach, follow ups, and handles any resulting back-and-forth communication
- Kutoku will inform you of any accepted samples to ship
- You ships sample and shares the tracking ID with Kutoku
- Kutoku monitors the sample's arrival and ensures all conditions are met (e.g. content feature)
How has this worked for others?
Along with newly referred traffic and sales, dozens of content features have directly resulted from successfully delivered samples; a few of which are below:
- Uncrate's Garb feature including Shinzo Tamura's Tennoji Slate sunglasses
- Cee Are Dee's review of Blue in Green's Chinos
- Airow's feature of ADAPTURE & Drypond eyewear
- Heddels' review of KATO's 4-way stretch denim
- werd's profile of Bleu de Chauffe's Zeppo bag
How do I get started?
If you'd like to give the Sample Service a shot, there are two ways to get started:
- Fill out this form and we'll get in touch with you after
- If you'd rather rather accept sample requests than send offers, drop us a line and we'll let you know as we have interest from publishers
